“Scarborough Fair”，直译为“斯卡保罗集市”，是由保罗•西蒙（Paul Simon）和阿特•加芬克尔（Art Garfunkel）创作并最早演唱的，主唱是保罗•西蒙，合音是加丰科。

这首歌的来历： Scarborough Fair原是一首古老的苏格兰民间谜歌（riddle song），所谓“riddle song”是指那些民间流传广泛，但是不知道作者是谁的歌曲，而且由于人们的相互传唱，本来的曲调已经改变了很多。后来英国民歌手马汀·卡西（Martin Carthy）在原歌的基础上加进了自己的再创造（尤其是里面那优美的吉它伴奏），把它变成了一首非常优美的爱情歌曲。保罗曾于64－65年期间在英国度假，并经常出没于英国民谣圈演唱，学会这首歌后，重新谱写了词曲。

Scarborough Fair这首歌第一次为我们所知应该是作为美国电影《毕业生》（The Graduate）的插曲出现的。这部电影是当时美国大学生很喜欢的电影，这首歌曲和那首The Sound of Silence（寂静之声）也都是颇受欢迎的。其实，西蒙和加芬克尔的唱片专辑“Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme”是在1966年底问世的。电影《毕业生》是1967年上映的，吸纳了其中两首作为插曲。

1．张明敏演唱的歌曲名字就是“毕业生”，歌词也重新填过，大概是为了配合电影的主题，或者可能受当时台湾校园民谣流行的影响。歌词如下：

2．莎拉•布莱曼翻唱的，歌词是英文的，但是只有西蒙的主唱的歌词，没有了加芬克尔合音的歌词。加芬克尔的合音部分表现的是反战的主题，没有这部分，就是一首纯粹的情歌了。

3．崔健，董文化等人翻唱的，没听过。

歌词的翻译有两种，一种直译，一种是“诗经体”翻译。直译如上,“诗经体”翻译据说是一位名叫莲波的人所为，莲波似乎是在曾在美国的中国留学生，现在也应该在美国。“Scarborough Fair是我很喜欢的一首老歌。因为它不那么美国，因为它那种幽怨的低唱。我总觉得它和《诗经》有一种很微妙的契合，纵然一个是公元之前，而另一个是百世以后。它的旋律，仿佛是一阵清风，夹杂着野草野花的苦寒轻香，在大地上缓缓掠过后而我更看见一个穿白衣服的人摇着木铎，边走边呼唤着苍穹，在一望无际的大地与村怦之间采集梦幻。真地很难忘却这种莫名的联想。很喜欢在异邦的文明之中，还能寻出这样令我心折的古中国的意韵。这首歌和《诗经》里很多诗的结构上的相似。第一段的第二句和第四句在以后各段中重复出现。这种回环往复的特点在《诗经》中也很明显。第二个原因在于歌中莫名其妙出现的一连串花花草草：欧芹，鼠尾草，迷迭香和百里香。试着用《诗经》的格式翻了下，填到原曲中，竟也能唱。” 歌词如下：
